11  A just⁴⁹⁴¹ weight⁶⁴²⁵ and balance³⁹⁷⁶ are the LORD's:³⁰⁶⁸ all³⁶⁰⁵ the weights⁶⁸ of the bag³⁵⁹⁹ are his work.⁴⁶³⁹

12  It is an abomination⁸⁴⁴¹ to kings⁴⁴²⁸ to commit⁶²¹³ wickedness:⁷⁵⁶² for³⁵⁸⁸ the throne³⁶⁷⁸ is established³⁵⁵⁹ by righteousness.⁶⁶⁶⁶

13  Righteous⁶⁶⁶⁴ lips⁸¹⁹³ are the delight⁷⁵²² of kings;⁴⁴²⁸ and they love¹⁵⁷ him that speaketh¹⁶⁹⁶ right.³⁴⁷⁷

14  The wrath²⁵³⁴ of a king⁴⁴²⁸ is as messengers⁴³⁹⁷ of death:⁴¹⁹⁴ but a wise²⁴⁵⁰ man³⁷⁶ will pacify³⁷²² it.

15  In the light²¹⁶ of the king's⁴⁴²⁸ countenance⁶⁴⁴⁰ is life;²⁴¹⁶ and his favor⁷⁵²² is as a cloud⁵⁶⁴⁵ of the latter rain.⁴⁴⁵⁶

16  How much⁴¹⁰⁰ better²⁸⁹⁶ is it to get⁷⁰⁶⁹ wisdom²⁴⁵¹ than gold!^{4480 2742} and to get⁷⁰⁶⁹ understanding⁹⁹⁸ rather to be chosen⁹⁷⁷ than silver!^{4480 3701}

17  The highway⁴⁵⁴⁶ of the upright³⁴⁷⁷ is to depart⁵⁴⁹³ from evil:^{4480 7451} he that keepeth⁵³⁴¹ his way¹⁸⁷⁰ preserveth⁸¹⁰⁴ his soul.⁵³¹⁵

18  Pride¹³⁴⁷ goeth before⁶⁴⁴⁰ destruction,⁷⁶⁶⁷ and a haughty¹³⁶³ spirit⁷³⁰⁷ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ a fall.³⁷⁸³

19  Better²⁸⁹⁶ it is to be of a humble⁸²¹⁷ spirit⁷³⁰⁷ with⁸⁵⁴ the lowly,⁶⁰³⁵ than to divide^{4480 2505} the spoil⁷⁹⁹⁸ with⁸⁵⁴ the proud.¹³⁴³

20  He that handleth a matter wisely^{7919 5921 1697} shall find⁴⁶⁷² good:²⁸⁹⁶ and whoso trusteth⁹⁸² in the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ happy⁸³⁵ is he.

21  The wise²⁴⁵⁰ in heart³⁸²⁰ shall be called⁷¹²¹ prudent:⁹⁹⁵ and the sweetness⁴⁹⁸⁶ of the lips⁸¹⁹³ increaseth³²⁵⁴ learning.³⁹⁴⁸

22  Understanding⁷⁹²² is a wellspring⁴⁷²⁶ of life²⁴¹⁶ unto him that hath¹¹⁶⁷ it: but the instruction⁴¹⁴⁸ of fools¹⁹¹ is folly.²⁰⁰

29  A violent²⁵⁵⁵ man³⁷⁶ enticeth⁶⁶⁰¹ his neighbor,⁷⁴⁵³ and leadeth¹⁹⁸⁰ him into the way¹⁸⁷⁰ that is not³⁸⁰⁸ good.²⁸⁹⁶

30  He shutteth⁶⁰⁹⁵ his eyes⁵⁸⁶⁹ to devise²⁸⁰³ froward things:⁸⁴¹⁹ moving⁷¹⁶⁹ his lips⁸¹⁹³ he bringeth evil to pass.^{3615 7451}

31  The hoary⁷⁸⁷² head is a crown⁵⁸⁵⁰ of glory,⁸⁵⁹⁷ if it be found⁴⁶⁷² in the way¹⁸⁷⁰ of righteousness.⁶⁶⁶⁶

32  He that is slow⁷⁵⁰ to anger⁶³⁹ is better²⁸⁹⁶ than the mighty;^{4480 1368} and he that ruleth⁴⁹¹⁰ his spirit⁷³⁰⁷ than he that taketh^{4480 3920} a city.⁵⁸⁹²

33  ⁸⁵³ The lot¹⁴⁸⁶ is cast²⁹⁰⁴ into the lap;²⁴³⁶ but the whole³⁶⁰⁵ disposing⁴⁹⁴¹ thereof is of the LORD.^{4480 3068}

1  The preparations⁴⁶³³ of the heart³⁸²⁰ in man,¹²⁰ and the answer⁴⁶¹⁷ of the tongue,³⁹⁵⁶ is from the LORD.^{4480 3068}

2  All³⁶⁰⁵ the ways¹⁸⁷⁰ of a man³⁷⁶ are clean²¹³⁴ in his own eyes;⁵⁸⁶⁹ but the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ weigheth⁸⁵⁰⁵ the spirits.⁷³⁰⁷

3  Commit¹⁵⁵⁶ thy works⁴⁶³⁹ unto⁴¹³ the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ and thy thoughts⁴²⁸⁴ shall be established.³⁵⁵⁹

4  The LORD³⁰⁶⁸ hath made⁶⁴⁶⁶ all³⁶⁰⁵ things for himself:⁴⁶¹⁷ yea, even¹⁵⁷¹ the wicked⁷⁵⁶³ for the day³¹¹⁷ of evil.⁷⁴⁵¹

5  Every one³⁶⁰⁵ that is proud¹³⁶² in heart³⁸²⁰ is an abomination⁸⁴⁴¹ to the LORD:³⁰⁶⁸ though hand³⁰²⁷ join in hand,³⁰²⁷ he shall not³⁸⁰⁸ be unpunished.⁵³⁵²

6  By mercy²⁶¹⁷ and truth⁵⁷¹ iniquity⁵⁷⁷¹ is purged:³⁷²² and by the fear³³⁷⁴ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ men depart⁵⁴⁹³ from evil.^{4480 7451}

7  When a man's³⁷⁶ ways¹⁸⁷⁰ please⁷⁵²¹ the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ he maketh even¹⁵⁷¹ his enemies³⁴¹ to be at peace⁷⁹⁹⁹ with⁸⁵⁴ him.

8  Better²⁸⁹⁶ is a little⁴⁵⁹² with righteousness⁶⁶⁶⁶ than great^{4480 7230} revenues⁸³⁹³ without³⁸⁰⁸ right.⁴⁹⁴¹

9  A man's¹²⁰ heart³⁸²⁰ deviseth²⁸⁰³ his way:¹⁸⁷⁰ but the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ directeth³⁵⁵⁹ his steps.⁶⁸⁰⁶

10  A divine sentence⁷⁰⁸¹ is in⁵⁹²¹ the lips⁸¹⁹³ of the king:⁴⁴²⁸ his mouth⁶³¹⁰ transgresseth⁴⁶⁰³ not³⁸⁰⁸ in judgment.⁴⁹⁴¹
