1 παρῆσαν δέ τινες ἐν αὐτῶ τῶ καιρῶ ἀπαγγέλλοντες αὐτῶ περὶ τῶν γαλιλαίων ὧν τὸ αἷμα πιλᾶτος ἔμιξεν μετὰ τῶν θυσιῶν αὐτῶν.

2 καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, δοκεῖτε ὅτι οἱ γαλιλαῖοι οὖτοι ἁμαρτωλοὶ παρὰ πάντας τοὺς γαλιλαίους ἐγένοντο, ὅτι ταῦτα πεπόνθασιν;

3 οὐχί, λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀλλ᾽ ἐὰν μὴ μετανοῆτε πάντες ὁμοίως ἀπολεῖσθε.

4 ἢ ἐκεῖνοι οἱ δεκαοκτὼ ἐφ᾽ οὓς ἔπεσεν ὁ πύργος ἐν τῶ σιλωὰμ καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτούς, δοκεῖτε ὅτι αὐτοὶ ὀφειλέται ἐγένοντο παρὰ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἰερουσαλήμ;

5 οὐχί, λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀλλ᾽ ἐὰν μὴ μετανοῆτε πάντες ὡσαύτως ἀπολεῖσθε.

6 ἔλεγεν δὲ ταύτην τὴν παραβολήν· συκῆν εἶχέν τις πεφυτευμένην ἐν τῶ ἀμπελῶνι αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἦλθεν ζητῶν καρπὸν ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ οὐχ εὖρεν.

7 εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς τὸν ἀμπελουργόν, ἰδοὺ τρία ἔτη ἀφ᾽ οὖ ἔρχομαι ζητῶν καρπὸν ἐν τῇ συκῇ ταύτῃ καὶ οὐχ εὑρίσκω. ἔκκοψον [οὗν] αὐτήν· ἱνατί καὶ τὴν γῆν καταργεῖ;

8 ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς λέγει αὐτῶ, κύριε, ἄφες αὐτὴν καὶ τοῦτο τὸ ἔτος, ἕως ὅτου σκάψω περὶ αὐτὴν καὶ βάλω κόπρια·

9 κἂν μὲν ποιήσῃ καρπὸν εἰς τὸ μέλλον _ εἰ δὲ μή γε, ἐκκόψεις αὐτήν.

10 ἦν δὲ διδάσκων ἐν μιᾷ τῶν συναγωγῶν ἐν τοῖς σάββασιν.

11 καὶ ἰδοὺ γυνὴ πνεῦμα ἔχουσα ἀσθενείας ἔτη δεκαοκτώ, καὶ ἦν συγκύπτουσα καὶ μὴ δυναμένη ἀνακύψαι εἰς τὸ παντελές.

12 ἰδὼν δὲ αὐτὴν ὁ ἰησοῦς προσεφώνησεν καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ, γύναι, ἀπολέλυσαι τῆς ἀσθενείας σου,

13 καὶ ἐπέθηκεν αὐτῇ τὰς χεῖρας· καὶ παραχρῆμα ἀνωρθώθη, καὶ ἐδόξαζεν τὸν θεόν.

14 ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ ἀρχισυνάγωγος, ἀγανακτῶν ὅτι τῶ σαββάτῳ ἐθεράπευσεν ὁ ἰησοῦς, ἔλεγεν τῶ ὄχλῳ ὅτι ἓξ ἡμέραι εἰσὶν ἐν αἷς δεῖ ἐργάζεσθαι· ἐν αὐταῖς οὗν ἐρχόμενοι θεραπεύεσθε καὶ μὴ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ σαββάτου.

15 ἀπεκρίθη δὲ αὐτῶ ὁ κύριος καὶ εἶπεν, ὑποκριταί, ἕκαστος ὑμῶν τῶ σαββάτῳ οὐ λύει τὸν βοῦν αὐτοῦ ἢ τὸν ὄνον ἀπὸ τῆς φάτνης καὶ ἀπαγαγὼν ποτίζει;

16 ταύτην δὲ θυγατέρα ἀβραὰμ οὗσαν, ἣν ἔδησεν ὁ σατανᾶς ἰδοὺ δέκα καὶ ὀκτὼ ἔτη, οὐκ ἔδει λυθῆναι ἀπὸ τοῦ δεσμοῦ τούτου τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ σαββάτου;

17 καὶ ταῦτα λέγοντος αὐτοῦ κατῃσχύνοντο πάντες οἱ ἀντικείμενοι αὐτῶ, καὶ πᾶς ὁ ὄχλος ἔχαιρεν ἐπὶ πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐνδόξοις τοῖς γινομένοις ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ.

18 ἔλεγεν οὗν, τίνι ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ, καὶ τίνι ὁμοιώσω αὐτήν;

19 ὁμοία ἐστὶν κόκκῳ σινάπεως, ὃν λαβὼν ἄνθρωπος ἔβαλεν εἰς κῆπον ἑαυτοῦ, καὶ ηὔξησεν καὶ ἐγένετο εἰς δένδρον, καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ κατεσκήνωσεν ἐν τοῖς κλάδοις αὐτοῦ.

20 καὶ πάλιν εἶπεν, τίνι ὁμοιώσω τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ;

21 ὁμοία ἐστὶν ζύμῃ, ἣν λαβοῦσα γυνὴ [ἐν]έκρυψεν εἰς ἀλεύρου σάτα τρία ἕως οὖ ἐζυμώθη ὅλον.

22 καὶ διεπορεύετο κατὰ πόλεις καὶ κώμας διδάσκων καὶ πορείαν ποιούμενος εἰς ἱεροσόλυμα.

23 εἶπεν δέ τις αὐτῶ, κύριε, εἰ ὀλίγοι οἱ σῳζόμενοι; ὁ δὲ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς,

24 ἀγωνίζεσθε εἰσελθεῖν διὰ τῆς στενῆς θύρας, ὅτι πολλοί, λέγω ὑμῖν, ζητήσουσιν εἰσελθεῖν καὶ οὐκ ἰσχύσουσιν.

25 ἀφ᾽ οὖ ἂν ἐγερθῇ ὁ οἰκοδεσπότης καὶ ἀποκλείσῃ τὴν θύραν, καὶ ἄρξησθε ἔξω ἑστάναι καὶ κρούειν τὴν θύραν λέγοντες, κύριε, ἄνοιξον ἡμῖν· καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ἐρεῖ ὑμῖν, οὐκ οἶδα ὑμᾶς πόθεν ἐστέ.

26 τότε ἄρξεσθε λέγειν, ἐφάγομεν ἐνώπιόν σου καὶ ἐπίομεν, καὶ ἐν ταῖς πλατείαις ἡμῶν ἐδίδαξας·

27 καὶ ἐρεῖ λέγων ὑμῖν, οὐκ οἶδα [ὑμᾶς] πόθεν ἐστέ· ἀπόστητε ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ, πάντες ἐργάται ἀδικίας.

28 ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁ κλαυθμὸς καὶ ὁ βρυγμὸς τῶν ὀδόντων, ὅταν ὄψησθε ἀβραὰμ καὶ ἰσαὰκ καὶ ἰακὼβ καὶ πάντας τοὺς προφήτας ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τοῦ θεοῦ, ὑμᾶς δὲ ἐκβαλλομένους ἔξω.

29 καὶ ἥξουσιν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ δυσμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ βορρᾶ καὶ νότου καὶ ἀνακλιθήσονται ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τοῦ θεοῦ.

30 καὶ ἰδοὺ εἰσὶν ἔσχατοι οἳ ἔσονται πρῶτοι, καὶ εἰσὶν πρῶτοι οἳ ἔσονται ἔσχατοι.

31 ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ὥρᾳ προσῆλθάν τινες φαρισαῖοι λέγοντες αὐτῶ, ἔξελθε καὶ πορεύου ἐντεῦθεν, ὅτι ἡρῴδης θέλει σε ἀποκτεῖναι.

32 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, πορευθέντες εἴπατε τῇ ἀλώπεκι ταύτῃ, ἰδοὺ ἐκβάλλω δαιμόνια καὶ ἰάσεις ἀποτελῶ σήμερον καὶ αὔριον, καὶ τῇ τρίτῃ τελειοῦμαι.

33 πλὴν δεῖ με σήμερον καὶ αὔριον καὶ τῇ ἐχομένῃ πορεύεσθαι, ὅτι οὐκ ἐνδέχεται προφήτην ἀπολέσθαι ἔξω ἰερουσαλήμ.

34 ἰερουσαλὴμ ἰερουσαλήμ, ἡ ἀποκτείνουσα τοὺς προφήτας καὶ λιθοβολοῦσα τοὺς ἀπεσταλμένους πρὸς αὐτήν, ποσάκις ἠθέλησα ἐπισυνάξαι τὰ τέκνα σου ὃν τρόπον ὄρνις τὴν ἑαυτῆς νοσσιὰν ὑπὸ τὰς πτέρυγας, καὶ οὐκ ἠθελήσατε.

35 ἰδοὺ ἀφίεται ὑμῖν ὁ οἶκος ὑμῶν. λέγω [δὲ] ὑμῖν, οὐ μὴ ἴδητέ με ἕως [ἥξει ὅτε] εἴπητε, εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου.

1  There¹¹⁶¹ were present³⁹¹⁸ at¹⁷²² that⁸⁴⁶ season²⁵⁴⁰ some⁵¹⁰⁰ that told⁵¹⁸ him⁸⁴⁶ of⁴⁰¹² the³⁵⁸⁸ Galilaeans,¹⁰⁵⁷ whose³⁷³⁹ blood¹²⁹ Pilate⁴⁰⁹¹ had mingled³³⁹⁶ with³³²⁶ their⁸⁴⁶ sacrifices.²³⁷⁸

3  I tell³⁰⁰⁴ you,⁵²¹³ Nay:³⁷⁸⁰ but,²³⁵ except^{1437 3361} ye repent,³³⁴⁰ ye shall all³⁹⁵⁶ likewise⁵⁶¹⁵ perish.⁶²²

10  And¹¹⁶¹ he was²²⁵⁸ teaching¹³²¹ in¹⁷²² one³³⁹¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ synagogues⁴⁸⁶⁴ on¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ sabbath.⁴⁵²¹

11  And,²⁵³² behold,²⁴⁰⁰ there was²²⁵⁸ a woman¹¹³⁵ which had²¹⁹² a spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of infirmity⁷⁶⁹ eighteen^{1176 2532 3638} years,²⁰⁹⁴ and²⁵³² was²²⁵⁸ bowed together,⁴⁷⁹⁴ and²⁵³² could¹⁴¹⁰ in no wise^{3361 1519 3838} lift up³⁵² herself.

12  And¹¹⁶¹ when Jesus²⁴²⁴ saw¹⁴⁹² her,⁸⁴⁶ he called⁴³⁷⁷ her to him, and²⁵³² said²⁰³⁶ unto her,⁸⁴⁶ Woman,¹¹³⁵ thou art loosed⁶³⁰ from thine⁴⁶⁷⁵ infirmity.⁷⁶⁹

13  And²⁵³² he laid²⁰⁰⁷ his hands⁵⁴⁹⁵ on her:⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² immediately³⁹¹⁶ she was made straight,⁴⁶¹ and²⁵³² glorified¹³⁹² God.²³¹⁶

14  And¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ ruler of the synagogue⁷⁵² answered⁶¹¹ with indignation,²³ because³⁷⁵⁴ that Jesus²⁴²⁴ had healed²³²³ on the³⁵⁸⁸ sabbath day,⁴⁵²¹ and said³⁰⁰⁴ unto the³⁵⁸⁸ people,³⁷⁹³ There are¹⁵²⁶ six¹⁸⁰³ days²²⁵⁰ in¹⁷²² which³⁷³⁹ men ought¹¹⁶³ to work:²⁰³⁸ in¹⁷²² them⁵⁰²⁵ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ come²⁰⁶⁴ and²⁵³² be healed,²³²³ and²⁵³² not³³⁶¹ on the³⁵⁸⁸ sabbath⁴⁵²¹ day.²²⁵⁰

15  The³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² then³⁷⁶⁷ answered⁶¹¹ him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² said,²⁰³⁶ Thou hypocrite,⁵²⁷³ doth not³⁷⁵⁶ each one¹⁵³⁸ of you⁵²¹⁶ on the³⁵⁸⁸ sabbath⁴⁵²¹ loose³⁰⁸⁹ his⁸⁴⁸ ox¹⁰¹⁶ or²²²⁸ his ass³⁶⁸⁸ from⁵⁷⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ stall,⁵³³⁶ and²⁵³² lead him away⁵²⁰ to watering?⁴²²²

16  And¹¹⁶¹ ought¹¹⁶³ not³⁷⁵⁶ this woman,⁵⁰²⁶ being⁵⁶⁰⁷ a daughter²³⁶⁴ of Abraham,¹¹ whom³⁷³⁹ Satan⁴⁵⁶⁷ hath bound,¹²¹⁰ lo,²⁴⁰⁰ these eighteen^{1176 2532 3638} years,²⁰⁹⁴ be loosed³⁰⁸⁹ from⁵⁷⁵ this⁵¹²⁷ bond¹¹⁹⁹ on the³⁵⁸⁸ sabbath⁴⁵²¹ day?²²⁵⁰

17  And²⁵³² when he⁸⁴⁶ had said³⁰⁰⁴ these things,⁵⁰²³ all³⁹⁵⁶ his⁸⁴⁶ adversaries⁴⁸⁰ were ashamed:²⁶¹⁷ and²⁵³² all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ people³⁷⁹³ rejoiced⁵⁴⁶³ for¹⁹⁰⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ glorious things¹⁷⁴¹ that were done¹⁰⁹⁶ by⁵²⁵⁹ him.⁸⁴⁶

18  Then¹¹⁶¹ said³⁰⁰⁴ he, Unto what⁵¹⁰¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of God²³¹⁶ like?³⁶⁶⁴ and²⁵³² whereunto⁵¹⁰¹ shall I resemble³⁶⁶⁶ it?⁸⁴⁶

19  It is²⁰⁷⁶ like³⁶⁶⁴ a grain²⁸⁴⁸ of mustard seed,⁴⁶¹⁵ which³⁷³⁹ a man⁴⁴⁴ took,²⁹⁸³ and cast⁹⁰⁶ into¹⁵¹⁹ his¹⁴³⁸ garden;²⁷⁷⁹ and²⁵³² it grew,⁸³⁷ and²⁵³² waxed¹⁰⁹⁶ a great³¹⁷³ tree;¹¹⁸⁶ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ fowls⁴⁰⁷¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ air³⁷⁷² lodged²⁶⁸¹ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ branches²⁷⁹⁸ of it.⁸⁴⁶

20  And²⁵³² again³⁸²⁵ he said,²⁰³⁶ Whereunto⁵¹⁰¹ shall I liken³⁶⁶⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of God?²³¹⁶

21  It is²⁰⁷⁶ like³⁶⁶⁴ leaven,²²¹⁹ which³⁷³⁹ a woman¹¹³⁵ took²⁹⁸³ and hid¹⁴⁷⁰ in¹⁵¹⁹ three⁵¹⁴⁰ measures⁴⁵⁶⁸ of meal,²²⁴ till^{2193 3757} the whole³⁶⁵⁰ was leavened.²²²⁰

22  And²⁵³² he went¹²⁷⁹ through²⁵⁹⁶ the cities⁴¹⁷² and²⁵³² villages,²⁹⁶⁸ teaching,¹³²¹ and²⁵³² journeying^{4160 4197} toward¹⁵¹⁹ Jerusalem.²⁴¹⁹

23  Then¹¹⁶¹ said²⁰³⁶ one⁵¹⁰⁰ unto him,⁸⁴⁶ Lord,²⁹⁶² are¹⁴⁸⁷ there few³⁶⁴¹ that be saved?⁴⁹⁸² And¹¹⁶¹ he³⁵⁸⁸ said²⁰³⁶ unto⁴³¹⁴ them,⁸⁴⁶

24  Strive⁷⁵ to enter in¹⁵²⁵ at¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ strait⁴⁷²⁸ gate:⁴⁴³⁹ for³⁷⁵⁴ many,⁴¹⁸³ I say³⁰⁰⁴ unto you,⁵²¹³ will seek²²¹² to enter in,¹⁵²⁵ and²⁵³² shall not³⁷⁵⁶ be able.²⁴⁸⁰

25  When once^{575 3739 302} the³⁵⁸⁸ master of the house³⁶¹⁷ is risen up,¹⁴⁵³ and²⁵³² hath shut to⁶⁰⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ door,²³⁷⁴ and²⁵³² ye begin⁷⁵⁶ to stand²⁴⁷⁶ without,¹⁸⁵⁴ and²⁵³² to knock²⁹²⁵ at the³⁵⁸⁸ door,²³⁷⁴ saying,³⁰⁰⁴ Lord,²⁹⁶² Lord,²⁹⁶² open⁴⁵⁵ unto us;²²⁵⁴ and²⁵³² he shall answer⁶¹¹ and say²⁰⁴⁶ unto you,⁵²¹³ I know¹⁴⁹² you⁵²⁰⁹ not³⁷⁵⁶ whence⁴¹⁵⁹ ye are:²⁰⁷⁵

26  Then⁵¹¹⁹ shall ye begin⁷⁵⁶ to say,³⁰⁰⁴ We have eaten⁵³¹⁵ and²⁵³² drunk⁴⁰⁹⁵ in thy presence,^{1799 4675} and²⁵³² thou hast taught¹³²¹ in¹⁷²² our²²⁵⁷ streets.⁴¹¹³

27  But²⁵³² he shall say,²⁰⁴⁶ I tell³⁰⁰⁴ you,⁵²¹³ I know¹⁴⁹² you⁵²⁰⁹ not³⁷⁵⁶ whence⁴¹⁵⁹ ye are;²⁰⁷⁵ depart⁸⁶⁸ from⁵⁷⁵ me,¹⁷⁰⁰ all³⁹⁵⁶ ye workers²⁰⁴⁰ of iniquity.⁹³

28  There¹⁵⁶³ shall be²⁰⁷¹ weeping²⁸⁰⁵ and²⁵³² gnashing¹⁰³⁰ of teeth,³⁵⁹⁹ when³⁷⁵² ye shall see³⁷⁰⁰ Abraham,¹¹ and²⁵³² Isaac,²⁴⁶⁴ and²⁵³² Jacob,²³⁸⁴ and²⁵³² all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ prophets,⁴³⁹⁶ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of God,²³¹⁶ and¹¹⁶¹ you⁵²⁰⁹ yourselves thrust¹⁵⁴⁴ out.¹⁸⁵⁴

29  And²⁵³² they shall come²²⁴⁰ from⁵⁷⁵ the east,³⁹⁵ and²⁵³² from the west,¹⁴²⁴ and²⁵³² from⁵⁷⁵ the north,¹⁰⁰⁵ and²⁵³² from the south,³⁵⁵⁸ and²⁵³² shall sit down³⁴⁷ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of²³¹⁶ God.

30  And,²⁵³² behold,²⁴⁰⁰ there are¹⁵²⁶ last²⁰⁷⁸ which³⁷³⁹ shall be²⁰⁷¹ first,⁴⁴¹³ and²⁵³² there are¹⁵²⁶ first⁴⁴¹³ which³⁷³⁹ shall be²⁰⁷¹ last.²⁰⁷⁸

31  The¹⁷²² same⁸⁴⁶ day²²⁵⁰ there came⁴³³⁴ certain⁵¹⁰⁰ of the Pharisees,⁵³³⁰ saying³⁰⁰⁴ unto him,⁸⁴⁶ Get thee out,¹⁸³¹ and²⁵³² depart⁴¹⁹⁸ hence:¹⁷⁸² for³⁷⁵⁴ Herod²²⁶⁴ will²³⁰⁹ kill⁶¹⁵ thee.⁴⁵⁷¹

32  And²⁵³² he said²⁰³⁶ unto them,⁸⁴⁶ Go⁴¹⁹⁸ ye, and tell²⁰³⁶ that⁵⁰²⁶ fox,²⁵⁸ Behold,²⁴⁰⁰ I cast out¹⁵⁴⁴ devils,¹¹⁴⁰ and²⁵³² I do²⁰⁰⁵ cures²³⁹² today⁴⁵⁹⁴ and²⁵³² tomorrow,⁸³⁹ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ third⁵¹⁵⁴ day I shall be perfected.⁵⁰⁴⁸

33  Nevertheless⁴¹³³ I³¹⁶⁵ must¹¹⁶³ walk⁴¹⁹⁸ today,⁴⁵⁹⁴ and²⁵³² tomorrow,⁸³⁹ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ day following:²¹⁹² for³⁷⁵⁴ it cannot be^{1735 3756} that a prophet⁴³⁹⁶ perish⁶²² out¹⁸⁵⁴ of Jerusalem.²⁴¹⁹

34  O Jerusalem,²⁴¹⁹ Jerusalem,²⁴¹⁹ which killest⁶¹⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ prophets,⁴³⁹⁶ and²⁵³² stonest³⁰³⁶ them that are sent⁶⁴⁹ unto⁴³¹⁴ thee;⁸⁴⁶ how often⁴²¹² would²³⁰⁹ I have gathered thy children together,^{1996 4675 5043} as^{3739 5158} a hen³⁷³³ doth gather her¹⁴³⁸ brood³⁵⁵⁵ under⁵²⁵⁹ her wings,⁴⁴²⁰ and²⁵³² ye would²³⁰⁹ not!³⁷⁵⁶

35  Behold,²⁴⁰⁰ your⁵²¹⁶ house³⁶²⁴ is left⁸⁶³ unto you⁵²¹³ desolate:²⁰⁴⁸ and¹¹⁶¹ verily²⁸¹ I say³⁰⁰⁴ unto you,⁵²¹³ Ye shall not³³⁶⁴ see¹⁴⁹² me,³¹⁶⁵ until^{2193 302} the time come²²⁴⁰ when³⁷⁵³ ye shall say,²⁰³⁶ Blessed²¹²⁷ is he that cometh²⁰⁶⁴ in¹⁷²² the name³⁶⁸⁶ of the Lord.²⁹⁶²

6 Dicebat autem et hanc similitudinem: Arborem fici habebat quidam plantatam in vinea sua, et venit quærens fructum in illa, et non invenit.

7 Dixit autem ad cultorem vineæ: Ecce anni tres sunt ex quo venio quærens fructum in ficulnea hac, et non invenio: succide ergo illam: ut quid etiam terram occupat?

8 At ille respondens, dicit illi: Domine dimitte illam et hoc anno, usque dum fodiam circa illam, et mittam stercora,

9 et siquidem fecerit fructum: sin autem, in futurum succides eam.

10 Erat autem docens in synagoga eorum sabbatis.

11 Et ecce mulier, quæ habebat spiritum infirmitatis annis decem et octo: et erat inclinata, nec omnino poterat sursum respicere.

12 Quam cum videret Jesus, vocavit eam ad se, et ait illi: Mulier, dimissa es ab infirmitate tua.

13 Et imposuit illi manus, et confestim erecta est, et glorificabat Deum.

14 Respondens autem archisynagogus, indignans quia sabbato curasset Jesus, dicebat turbæ: Sex dies sunt in quibus oportet operari: in his ergo venite, et curamini, et non in die sabbati.

15 Respondens autem ad illum Dominus, dixit: Hypocritæ, unusquisque vestrum sabbato non solvit bovem suum, aut asinum a præsepio, et ducit adaquare?

16 Hanc autem filiam Abrahæ, quam alligavit Satanas, ecce decem et octo annis, non oportuit solvi a vinculo isto die sabbati?

17 Et cum hæc diceret, erubescant omnes adversarii ejus: et omnis populus gaudebat in universis, quæ gloriosæ fiebant ab eo.

18 Dicebat ergo: Cui simile est regnum Dei, et cui simile æstimabo illud?

19 Simile est grano sinapis, quod acceptum homo misit in hortum suum, et crevit, et factum est in arborem magnam: et volucres cæli requieverunt in ramis ejus.

20 Et iterum dixit: Cui simile æstimabo regnum Dei?

21 Simile est fermento, quod acceptum mulier abscondit in farinæ sata tria, donec fermentaretur totum.

22 Et ibat per civitates et castella, docens, et iter faciens in Jerusalem.

23 Ait autem illi quidam: Domine, si pauci sunt, qui salvantur? Ipse autem dixit ad illos:

24 Contendite intrare per angustam portam: quia multi, dico vobis, quærent intrare, et non poterunt.

25 Cum autem intraverit paterfamilias, et clauserit ostium, incipietis foris stare, et pulsare ostium, dicentes: Domine, aperi nobis: et respondens dicet vobis: Nescio vos unde sitis:

26 tunc incipietis dicere: Manducavimus coram te, et bibimus, et in plateis nostris docuisti.

27 Et dicet vobis: Nescio vos unde sitis: discedite a me omnes operarii iniquitatis.

28 Ibi erit fletus et stridor dentium: cum videritis Abraham, et Isaac, et Jacob, et omnes prophetas in regno Dei, vos autem expelli foras.

29 Et venient ab oriente, et occidente, et aquilone, et austro, et accumbent in regno Dei.

30 Et ecce sunt novissimi qui erunt primi, et sunt primi qui erunt novissimi.

31 In ipsa die accesserunt quidam pharisæorum, dicentes illi: Exi, et vade hinc: quia Herodes vult te occidere.

32 Et ait illis: Ite, et dicite vulpi illi: Ecce ejicio dæmonia, et sanitates perficio hodie, et cras, et tertia die consummor.

33 Verumtamen oportet me hodie et cras et sequenti die ambulare: quia non capit prophetam perire extra Jerusalem.

34 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, quæ occidis prophetas, et lapidas eos qui mittuntur ad te, quoties volui congregare filios tuos quemadmodum avis nidum suum sub pennis, et noluisti?

35 Ecce relinquetur vobis domus vestra deserta. Dico autem vobis, quia non videbitis me donec veniat cum dicetis: Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini.
