1  A Psalm⁴²¹⁰ of David.¹⁷³² LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ I cry⁷¹²¹ unto thee: make haste²³⁶³ unto me; give ear²³⁸ unto my voice,⁶⁹⁶³ when I cry⁷¹²¹ unto thee.

2  Let my prayer⁸⁶⁰⁵ be set forth³⁵⁵⁹ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ thee as incense;⁷⁰⁰⁴ and the lifting up⁴⁸⁶⁴ of my hands³⁷⁰⁹ as the evening⁶¹⁵³ sacrifice.⁴⁵⁰³

3  Set⁷⁸⁹⁶ a watch,⁸¹⁰⁸ O LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ before my mouth;⁶³¹⁰ keep^{5341 5921} the door¹⁸¹⁷ of my lips.⁸¹⁹³

4  Incline⁵¹⁸⁶ not⁴⁰⁸ my heart³⁸²⁰ to any evil⁷⁴⁵¹ thing,¹⁶⁹⁷ to practice⁵⁹⁵³ wicked⁷⁵⁶² works⁵⁹⁴⁹ with⁸⁵⁴ men³⁷⁶ that work⁶⁴⁶⁶ iniquity:²⁰⁵ and let me not¹⁰⁷⁷ eat³⁸⁹⁸ of their dainties.⁴⁵¹⁶

5  Let the righteous⁶⁶⁶² smite¹⁹⁸⁶ me; it shall be a kindness:²⁶¹⁷ and let him reprove³¹⁹⁸ me; it shall be an excellent⁷²¹⁸ oil,⁸⁰⁸¹ which shall not⁴⁰⁸ break⁵¹⁰⁶ my head:⁷²¹⁸ for³⁵⁸⁸ yet⁵⁷⁵⁰ my prayer⁸⁶⁰⁵ also shall be in their calamities.⁷⁴⁵¹

6  When their judges⁸¹⁹⁹ are overthrown⁸⁰⁵⁸ in stony⁵⁵⁵³ places,³⁰²⁷ they shall hear⁸⁰⁸⁵ my words;⁵⁶¹ for³⁵⁸⁸ they are sweet.⁵²⁷⁶

7  Our bones⁶¹⁰⁶ are scattered⁶³⁴⁰ at the grave's⁷⁵⁸⁵ mouth,⁶³¹⁰ as when³⁶⁴⁴ one cutteth⁶³⁹⁸ and cleaveth¹²³⁴ wood upon the earth.⁷⁷⁶

8  But³⁵⁸⁸ mine eyes⁵⁸⁶⁹ are unto⁴¹³ thee, O GOD³⁰⁶⁹ the Lord:¹³⁶ in thee is my trust;²⁶²⁰ leave not my soul destitute.^{6168 408 5315}

9  Keep⁸¹⁰⁴ me from^{4480 3027} the snares⁶³⁴¹ which they have laid³³⁶⁹ for me, and the gins⁴¹⁷⁰ of the workers⁶⁴⁶⁶ of iniquity.²⁰⁵

10  Let the wicked⁷⁵⁶³ fall⁵³⁰⁷ into their own nets,⁴³⁶⁴ whilst⁵⁷⁰⁴ that I⁵⁹⁵ withal³¹⁶² escape.⁵⁶⁷⁴

2 φωνῇ μου πρὸς κύριον ἐκέκραξα φωνῇ μου πρὸς κύριον ἐδεήθην

3 ἐκχεῶ ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ τὴν δέησίν μου τὴν θλῖψίν μου ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ἀπαγγελῶ

4 ἐν τῷ ἐκλείπειν ἐξ ἐμοῦ τὸ πνεῦμά μου καὶ σὺ ἔγνως τὰς τρίβους μου ἐν ὁδῷ ταύτῃ ᾗ ἐπορευόμην ἔκρυψαν παγίδα μοι

5 κατενόουν εἰς τὰ δεξιὰ καὶ ἐπέβλεπον ὅτι οὐκ ἦν ὁ ἐπιγινώσκων με ἀπώλετο φυγὴ ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ἐκζητῶν τὴν ψυχήν μου

6 ἐκέκραξα πρὸς σέ κύριε εἶπα σὺ εἶ ἡ ἐλπίς μου μερίς μου ἐν γῇ ζώντων

7 πρόσχες πρὸς τὴν δέησίν μου ὅτι ἐταπεινώθην σφόδρα ῥῦσαί με ἐκ τῶν καταδιωκόντων με ὅτι ἐκραταιώθησαν ὑπὲρ ἐμέ

8 ἐξάγαγε ἐκ φυλακῆς τὴν ψυχήν μου τοῦ ἐξομολογήσασθαι τῷ ὀνόματί σου κύριε ἐμὲ ὑπομενοῦσιν δίκαιοι ἕως οὗ ἀνταποδῷς μοι

‎3 ‏שִׁיתָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה שָׁמְרָ֣ה לְפִ֑י נִ֝צְּרָ֗ה עַל־דַּ֥ל שְׂפָתָֽי׃

‎4 ‏אַל־תַּט־לִבִּ֨י לְדָבָ֪ר׀ רָ֡ע לְהִתְע֘וֹלֵ֤ל עֲלִל֨וֹת׀ בְּרֶ֗שַׁע אֶת־אִישִׁ֥ים פֹּֽעֲלֵי־אָ֑וֶן וּבַל־אֶ֝לְחַ֗ם בְּמַנְעַמֵּיהֶֽם׃

‎5 ‏יֶֽהֶלְמֵֽנִי־צַדִּ֨יק׀ חֶ֡סֶד וְֽיוֹכִיחֵ֗נִי שֶׁ֣מֶן רֹ֭אשׁ אַל־יָנִ֣י רֹאשִׁ֑י כִּי־ע֥וֹד וּ֝תְפִלָּתִ֗י בְּרָעוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

‎6 ‏נִשְׁמְט֣וּ בִֽידֵי־סֶ֭לַע שֹׁפְטֵיהֶ֑ם וְשָׁמְע֥וּ אֲ֝מָרַ֗י כִּ֣י נָעֵֽמוּ׃

‎7 ‏כְּמ֤וֹ פֹלֵ֣חַ וּבֹקֵ֣עַ בָּאָ֑רֶץ נִפְזְר֥וּ עֲ֝צָמֵ֗ינוּ לְפִ֣י שְׁאֽוֹל׃

‎8 ‏כִּ֤י אֵלֶ֨יךָ׀ יְהוִ֣ה³ אֲדֹנָ֣י עֵינָ֑י בְּכָ֥ה חָ֝סִ֗יתִי אַל־תְּעַ֥ר נַפְשִֽׁי׃

‎9 ‏שָׁמְרֵ֗נִי מִ֣ידֵי פַ֭ח יָ֣קְשׁוּ לִ֑י וּ֝מֹקְשׁ֗וֹת פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃

‎10 ‏יִפְּל֣וּ בְמַכְמֹרָ֣יו רְשָׁעִ֑ים יַ֥חַד אָ֝נֹכִ֗י עַֽד־אֶעֱבֽוֹר׃

1 Intellectus David, cum esset in spelunca, oratio.

2 [Voce mea ad Dominum clamavi,
voce mea ad Dominum deprecatus sum.

3 Effundo in conspectu ejus orationem meam,
et tribulationem meam ante ipsum pronuntio:

4 in deficiendo ex me spiritum meum,
et tu cognovisti semitas meas.
In via hac qua ambulabam
absconderunt laqueum mihi.

5 Considerabam ad dexteram, et videbam,
et non erat qui cognosceret me:
periit fuga a me,
et non est qui requirat animam meam.

6 Clamavi ad te, Domine;
dixi: Tu es spes mea,
portio mea in terra viventium.

7 Intende ad deprecationem meam,
quia humiliatus sum nimis.
Libera me a persequentibus me,
quia confortati sunt super me.

8 Educ de custodia animam meam
ad confitendum nomini tuo;
me exspectant justi donec retribuas mihi.]
